Are you going on a vacation with your significant other? Is it a girl’s getaway weekend? There are plenty of reasons why you have to travel. Packing for your travels is not always the easiest thing to do, especially if you are a fashionista. I mean, how are you supposed to know ahead of time what you want to wear every day for the entire trip, right? After the initial packing freak-out, you can take a step back and look at your entire closet to see what you are working with. Of course, you want to take all of your favorite clothes because you want to look perfect at all times. However instead of frantically packing everything in your closet just slow down, take your time, and make sure your bag is packed the proper way. Here are a few things to remember, so that you will know how to travel like a fashionista!

Packing for your trip is not as hard as you think. The secret is to zip it. Go to your kitchen and grab that box of gallon–size zip-lock bags. Yes, the ones you use for your food. Now that you have your zip lock bags, it is time to start picking out all of your favorite outfits. This part will probably take the most amount of time, but once you finish it will have been worth it! Once you have all of your favorite outfits picked out, make a pile for each outfit. For example, if you want to wear a pair of skinny jeans with your favorite tank top and a cute blazer take them then fold those items up and put them in a pile. Make as many piles of outfits as you want for as many days as you will be traveling. After you have all of your outfits chosen and separated, go back and add the undergarments you want for each outfit to that pile. Now that you have your outfit completely put together you place each complete outfit into its own zip lock bag.

Since you are a fashionista on the go, you know the importance of accessories. You have finished zipping up each of the outfits you will be wearing, but now it is time to get the smaller zip lock bags and add some jewelry. If you want to take a statement necklace, stud earrings, and a bangle for one outfit, a pendant necklace, a cuff bracelet, and chandelier earrings for another, pack those items for each outfit and place those smaller zip lock bags into the larger ones that are holding the outfits. After you complete zipping up your jewelry, the only thing left to zip is your shoes, hair products, and makeup.

Now that your bag is correctly packed with all of your fabulous outfits you can relax! Zipping it up not only eliminates wasted space, but also wasted time. You will always be ready to go, and you will not have to make people wait for you to get ready anymore. All of your outfits and accessories are organized and protected. Nothing will get ruined. You can even pack a few extra zip lock bags in your suitcase because, as a fashionista, you will most likely make a few more purchases on your trip! Put the time into packing your things, and when you are on your trip, you will not have to worry about wasting time!
